Aishwarya and Abishek recently purchased a house in Dubai which is expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2010 and will cost around AED 35 million (nearly $10 million). “It’s so close to Mumbai, so we’ll probably be spending a lot more weekends here,” aishwarya was quoted as saying. However she said there is no immediate plan to relocate to dubai house as bachchan family live and work in mumbai.

It is not the first time a bollywood celebrity has bought a property in the gulf island. Gulf daily reported that the House is a 96-villa double-gated community home in Sanctuary Falls, aishwarya family also attended a “Residents Party” organized for them in Jumeirah Golf Estates’s last week.

“Dubai is special to us not just as a place where we enjoy great warmth and generosity in terms of love from the people, but it’s become a remarkable place and one that is so close to home for us,” Abhishek said.

When Aishwarya was questioned about the upcoming film “Sarkar Raj” which is a political drama and also stars Abishek and Amitabh Bachchan, aishwarya said she is excited about the film and looking forward to it’s release this week.

“I’m always excited, I’ve never been nervous before (the release of) a film. It’s been a great experience and I’m looking forward to sharing it with the audiences”, said the former Miss World.
