According to a leading newpaper actor chandrachur singh will be seen shortly alongside aishwarya rai in a children film although details are not yet finalized.
When ABCL debuted with chandrachur singh and arshad warshi, both actors become an outright success, even though arshad warshi is still around and doing cameo roles. Chandrachur singh who had a herioc image wasn’t easily accepted. Although he garnered an initial success with film opposite biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, Preity Zinta and Tabu.
According to the actor, he was always there in the film industry, “I have just been very selective,” he says. “Yes it has been a long time but then I had to live up to my fans’ expectations. After doing films like Maachis and Josh, I couldn’t opt for the B and C grade films that were being offered to me,” he justifies. “Now the whole scene has changed, earlier there were only few banners that made A grade films like Yashraj and there was also the producer-distributor war going on then that almost ruined films and actors too. Some of my films have not seen the light of the day”.
Actor also refuses any rumour of a emotional breakdown. “Everyone goes through an emotional upheaval especially when you have proved yourself professionally in every sphere and still things don’t work out for you. But me going through a break down isn’t true; it’s just a myth,” he says.
Finally personally I like his acting but he never had success of salman khan who started his career quite badly yet he kept on making comeback.

Aishwarya and Abishek recently purchased a house in Dubai which is expected to be ready in the first quarter of 2010 and will cost around AED 35 million (nearly $10 million). “It’s so close to Mumbai, so we’ll probably be spending a lot more weekends here,” aishwarya was quoted as saying. However she said there is no immediate plan to relocate to dubai house as bachchan family live and work in mumbai.
It is not the first time a bollywood celebrity has bought a property in the gulf island. Gulf daily reported that the House is a 96-villa double-gated community home in Sanctuary Falls, aishwarya family also attended a “Residents Party” organized for them in Jumeirah Golf Estates’s last week.
“Dubai is special to us not just as a place where we enjoy great warmth and generosity in terms of love from the people, but it’s become a remarkable place and one that is so close to home for us,” Abhishek said.
When Aishwarya was questioned about the upcoming film “Sarkar Raj” which is a political drama and also stars Abishek and Amitabh Bachchan, aishwarya said she is excited about the film and looking forward to it’s release this week.
“I’m always excited, I’ve never been nervous before (the release of) a film. It’s been a great experience and I’m looking forward to sharing it with the audiences”, said the former Miss World.

Timeless beauty Aishwarya Rai (Bachchan) is Bollywood’s most recognized female face in the West. No wonder she is being offered one Hollywood project after the other. As is well known, she is presently working for the next in the PINK PANTHER series, and with none other than Steve Martin.
While on the movie, it appears that Hollywood has taken notice of her superb negative act in Yash Raj’s DHOOM:2, opposite the ‘Indian Greek God’ Hrithik Roshan! As per sources, this Hollywood venture revolves around ‘Jacqes Clouseau’ (Steve Martin) and Aishwarya, who plays ‘Sophie’, a criminal expert, who is holding on to some important information about the villain. Martin teams up with Ash and a group of other International detectives, to launch a worldwide manhunt for a globe-trotting crook, who specializes in stealing artifacts.
Here’s hoping that just like DHOOM:2 this film too succeeds and Aishwarya makes India and Bollywood proud.

It would be quite a handful for Aishwarya Rai fans in early 2008 as two of her films would be hitting the marquee in quick succession.
While 25th January 2008 has been locked for the release of Ashutosh Gowarikar’s JODHA AKBAR which features Ash opposite her DHOOM:2 star Hrithik Roshan, she gets to appear in a Bachchan family photo frame with the release of SARKAR RAAJ. This Ram Gopal Varma film is expected to arrive on 8th February; just a fortnight after JODHA AKBAR. Though she is not paired opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the film, Aishwarya Rai is said to be playing a powerful character in SARKAR RAAJ.
Currently these are the only two films for which Aishwarya has worked in the recent past though talks are on between her and Rohan Sippy for the Sriram Raghavan film that stars John Abraham in the lead.

Thanks to London ‘s famous wax museum, Madame Tussauds, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan and former flame Salman Khan will get to be together. Well, we’re talking about their wax statues at the museum.
Salman’s statue at the museum will be unveiled in January 2008. As for Aishwarya, she already has a statue dedicated to her at the museum. Our source says, “There is a plan to put Salman’s statue besides Aishwarya’s. This will immortalise them together.”
The reasons for placing the statues together are purely business oriented. “After Shah Rukh Khan’s wax figure in Madame Tussands was unveiled, business quadrupled. If Salman and Aishwarya’s statues are paired together, business will further multiply. Same goes for Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie and David-Victoria Beckham,” the source adds.
When contacted, Salman Ahmed (Group Managing Director of Bobby Khan Holdings who now have the rights to open Madame Tussands in Mumbai) says, “There has never been any branding in Madame Tussands, but recently, we have been inundated by offers from large corporates from India . A new zone called the Bollywood Zone is being created. All four statues – Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan) will be in that zone,” he added.
Ahmed does not deny the news about Salman’s statue being placed next to Aishwarya’s. “There is a good possibility for everything, depending on the demand and of course, Madame Tussauds authorities in London ,” he says.
Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan were in the running for the fourth statue from Bollywood, at Madame Tussauds. However, after a poll, Salman emerged victorious and his statue was commissioned.

Must say that the Amitabh Bachchan-Shah Rukh Khan face-off at the Police Club event has so many versions that it has left people confused.
Okay a couple of police men have confirmed the truth that Amitabh Bachchan was sitting in the front row with Abhishek and Aishwarya, seemingly enjoying Raageshwari’s performance of Dama dam mast kalandar.. when SRK sauntered in with his Om Shanti Om team.

The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan not only celebrated her birthday last week, but after returning from Agra, made a donation to a hospital. Ash donated a C-Arm Image Intensifier to K K Bhabha Hospital, in Bandra, Mumbai, on her birthday.
Ash has been actively involved with the treatment of poor at Bhabha Hospital for years now. Reports are that when she learnt that the hospital authorities needed a C-Arm Image Intensifier because the previous one was too old, Ash got them a new one.
Ash took personal interest in the kind of intensifier that the doctors required and saw to it that the machine had apt technical features that was required by the doctors.
Hari Singh, Ash’s business manager confirmed the news saying, “It is true that Ash donated a C-Arm Image Intensifier machine to Bhabha hospital on her birthday.”
He added that Ash has been actively involved with Bhabha Hospital making donations for the treatment of the poor.
Singh said, “For patients who cannot afford expensive treatments, Bhabha Hospital is a boon. It is good that we have such a hospital in city to give prompt treatment without bothering about the money.”source: Himalya

Rohan Sippy is waiting for the Bachchan bahu to give her nod for this John Abraham starrer reports Joginder Tuteja
If all goes as per plans, it will be nearly after a decade that actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan would be starring in a film with sci-fi elements and fantasy. This would be for the upcoming and untitled offering by producer Rohan Sippy. Incidentally, Rohan is known to share a close friendship with Abhishek Bachchan.
In the start of her career, Aishwarya had worked in the Shankar directed ‘Jeans’ (1998), which abounded in special effects.
However, while John Abraham’s dates are already available with the makers, Aishwarya’s signature on the dotted line is still awaited.
Director Sriram Raghavan (‘Johnny Gaddaar’), who would be shifting genres from thrillers ( he also directed ‘Ek Haseena Thi’) to a love story with this film says, “Yes, the film does have a fair bit of sci-fi and fantasy elements. Though it is a love story, the plot is unique and requires a different treatment. We may go abroad to get the special effects in place.”
Will Aishwarya feature in this film? “There are positive indications about her being a part of the project. But I guess the final decision may come only after Diwali once we are able to sit down and discuss it with her,” divulges Sriram. He adds, “Aishwarya was busy with her ‘Pink Panther’ shoot abroad. Once in India, she was occupied with the Karva Chauth ceremony. Once the festivities are through after Diwali, we should have all the dates finalised.”
Earlier there were talks about the shooting beginning in November. “We have moved a little. We will begin in December and should still be able to finish more than 70 per cent of the shoot in a start to finish schedule. Post this, work on special effects would begin.” The film will also star Nana Patekar. Incidentally, Aishwarya’s ‘tough girl’ act in Aditya Chopra’s ‘Dhoom 2’ was much appreciated.

A host of Bollywood stars turned up for the annual Diwali mela organised by Mumbai police on Sunday evening at Andheri Sports complex. The Mumbai police Diwali night, usually has a very good star turn-out, for obvious reasons. And like previous years, there were some scintillating performances lined up too. The Bachchans, Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya, came in early. Seated in the front row, the trio seemed to immensely enjoy the show, as they kept whispering through the show and guffawing time and again.About 45 minutes later, there was commotion amongst the audience, as news filtered in that Shah Rukh Khan has reached the venue. SRK was accompanied by his ‘Om Shanti Om’ colleagues, Deepika Padukone, Shreyas Talpade and Arjun Rampal. But to everyone’s surprise, as soon as SRK entered the venue, the Bachchans got up from their seats and made a quick exit!
According to sources, the Bachchans however, did come face to face with SRK, during which Bachchan shared a clammy handshake with SRK. The handshake seemed as cold as their grim expressions. Aishwarya reportedly didn’t even greet SRK. It came as a surprise to not only the audience but also the organisers as the Bachchans were expected to go on stage after a point.
A police source, who was part of the organisation team, on conditions of anonymity said, “We were planning to call the Bachchan family on stage, soon after the performances. But since they left early we couldn’t do so. However, there was no prior commitment from them that they would be coming onstage.”
The question here is did Bachchans make a getaway because they didn’t want to breathe the same air that SRK did or was it just a mere co-incidence? Their alleged rivalry forces us to think the former is true but they again haven’t they been denying the rivalry bit a far too vehemently?

Stunning Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, who will be playing the adored Mumtaz Mahal in Ben Kingsley’s film on the Taj Mahal, celebrated her 34th birthday with her real-life “Shah” husband Jehan.
“It sounds so dramatic and romantic,” said Ash to reporter Subhash Jha of SifY.com.
“It’s nothing like that. I’m bringing it in with Abhishek, Ma and Pa. Abhishek was shooting an ad in Agra on Wednesday. So I joined him with Ma (mom-in-law Jaya Bachchan) and now Pa (father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan) has also joined us. So you could say it’s a perfect birthday by the Taj Mahal, though not quite at the Taj Mahal. Have you seen the crowds over there? We can’t risk going to the Taj Mahal, but it’s just a stone’s throw away. It’s a pity my parents couldn’t join us here in Agra.”
Aishwarya recently wrapped “The Pink Panther 2” with Steve Martin.
“I came back from the US from shooting ‘Pink Panther’ in time for Karwa Chauth. God knows how the cameras got our shots, probably from neighbor’s premise. We’re just leading our lives normally.”
Aishwarya is happy to be home in India.
“This is my first birthday after marriage and therefore a very special occasion. Spending time with the people I love is my greatest joy. I’m in a very happy place. And I don’t mean Agra. Just being with three people who mean so much to me makes my life complete. God has been kind. There’s great fulfillment in love and in being loved, by not just my husband but his parents who are now my parents. We’re one family and we all love one another.”
Rai shared with reporter Subhash Jha that the new Taj Mahal film project with Ben Kingsley is worth the wait.
“On the first day of shooting ‘The Last Legion’ with him he walked up to me he said, ‘I’ve this idea.’ He told me about the Shah Jehan-Mumtaz Mahal film that he’d like to do.
You know how many Taj Mahal scripts have come my way? I told Ben there have been many occasions when this subject has come to me. But there was something exceptionally interesting about the way he approached the subject. And yes, the whole process of discussing the subject with him was participative….But earlier this year he confirmed it was on… I’m looking forward to working with Sir Ben again.”

Aishwarya surely is one lucky gal. While she spent the eve of her birthday by the beautiful Taj Mahal with Abhishek, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, her birthday bash on Thursday night was nothing short of a cracker.The buzz is Abhishek and Shweta detailed every little aspect at the party, making sure that Ash’s first birthday bash at Jalsa would be something worth remembering.
According to sources, the party started late, post 11 pm and continued till three in the morning. Almost all of Ash’s family and close pals were present there to wish the birthday girl. Amongst them were Anil and Tina Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar with wife Anjali, Kajol, Sonali Bendre and Goldie Bhel, Pralhad Kakkar and Neeta Lulla.
“There were surely over a hundred people at Jalsa on Thursday night; it was quite a grand affair,” says a source.
But the surprise element came around 1.30 pm. Ash and Abhishek broke into a “very sexy” salsa dance number which turned out to be the highlight of the evening. We guess that the dance number might have been choreographed by the ‘salsa master’ Sandip Soparrkar. Apparently the couple practiced the number for two days for the special occasion.
Aishwarya, who was initially wearing a saree, changed into a sea blue dress designed by Neeta Lulla for the dance while Abhishek slipped into a black suit. The dance, it is said, was Abhishek’s birthday gift for Aishwarya.

As per sources, as soon as the clock struck twelve, heralding the arrival of November 1 (Aishwarya’s birthday), the cake was cut by the beauty queen. After that she touched the feet of her father and mother-in law, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan and seeked their blessing. Whatever the Bachchans do is ‘news’ and Aishwarya’s first “Karva Chauth” fast is no exception. Ash’s absence from hubby Abhishek’s side at an auction event the night before “Karva Chauth” just added to the rumours that Ash was getting ready to fast for Abhishek’s long life but seems like Abhishek wasn’t in the mood to reveal it to the media.
Abhishek says, “I’ve not got a chance to be at home and I’m just happy to be with Ash. Well we’ve all heard that Amitabh Bachchan is reported to fast with wife Jaya Bachchan for “Karva Chauth”. So will son Abhishek follow suit like he always does and fast with wife Aishwarya??
Abhishek quipped that he would ask his father if he would be fasting and then let the media know.
Well, Ash is not the only one who’s keeping a “Karva chauth” and is in news. Actor Sanjay Dutt might be currently lodged in Pune’s Yervada jail but lady love Manyata will be observing her second “Karva Chauth” fast. Mumbai, April 20 (IANS) Colour, confusion and crowds… It was every bit the grand filmy wedding as Abhishek Bachchan, astride a horse, wearing an off-white sherwani and a white turban bedecked with flowers, arrived on a hot Friday evening to wed his Aishwarya Rai.
Bollywood’s power couple finally tied the knot in a grand ceremony that held much of the nation in thrall – never mind if the only details of the closely guarded event that filtered out were grainy zoom shots from TV cameras stationed across the road.
Aishwarya reached the Bachchans’ Juhu residence Prateeksha in a silver Mercedes decorated with flowers along with her mother and brother.
At almost the same time, the barat left the other Bachchan bungalow Jalsa nearby, with a visibly anxious Amitabh Bachchan, complete with a saffron turban, ushering his guests into the waiting Volvo buses that would take them to the wedding venue.
His face covered with a sehra of white flowers, Abhishek did a small jig before getting off the bus and waving cheerily and then getting on to his horse again at Prateeksha.
While photographers scrambled to train their cameras at the goings-on, curious stargazers climbed up trees, railings and even hoardings to get a first-hand view.
Amid the sea of saffron turbans sported by the baratis, several close friends like yesteryear actor Danny Denzongpa, industrialist Anil Ambani and director Goldie Behl could be seen.
The Bollywood celebrities who arrived to bless the couple also included Sonali Bendre, Preity Zinta, Karan Johar, Ajay Devgan and Kajol.
With so many high-profile guests, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh, at least 1,000 security personnel swarmed both the flower bedecked Bachchan homes. The road outside Prateeksha was blocked.
Friday’s wedding was the climax of three-day festivities that included a sangeet and a mehndi ceremony that were equally secretive.
The buzz around the Abhi-Ash marriage started last year and had been steadily getting louder even though the Bachchans never announced it officially because they wanted to keep it a private affair.
TV shots and newspaper pictures of guests, who kept floating in and out of their house from Wednesday, were the only proof that the big fat Indian wedding was finally taking place.
Both the Bachchan residences were turned into fortresses and for the uninvited, getting in was next to impossible.
The Bachchans not only took care of their own privacy, they were thoughtful enough not to disturb their neighbours – the lawns at the venue were covered with soundproofed, air-conditioned tents.
Members of the film fraternity who made it to the guest list showed cooperation towards the first family of Bollywood – none of the invitees breathed out a single detail about the wedding.
“They have invited all those people who are emotionally close to them,” Amar Singh said in an interview to a TV channel in an apparent explanation for some conspicuous absentees like neighbour Hrithik Roshan and all the Khans.
Fans and mediapersons who had logged on to Aishwarya’s official site also faced disappointment as they found it temporarily closed.
“This site is temporarily unavailable. Please do not call or e-mail but check back again next month. Thank you,” said a message apparently posted by Aishwarya.
Whether the wedding of the year was accessible to all or not, the couple’s many fans just hope that they live happily ever after…

Reigning Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, son of superstar Amitabh Bachchan, are all set to wed, said media reports Saturday.
Amitabh Bachchan’s brother Ajitabh has consulted Banglore-based astrologer Chandrashekhar Swamy with the horoscopes of the two young stars, a local news channel reported.
According to Swamy, the horoscopes of both the popular stars matched and “god willing, the wedding will happen”.
In an interview to a Kannada news channel (ETV), Swamy said Amitabh’s brother called on him Friday with the horoscopes (jatakas) of Ash and Abhishek for matchmaking.
“I have known Aishwarya’s father and mother for a long time as we hail from the same village (Punaroor) near Mangalore. They regularly consult me for family and religious ceremonies, besides astrology. I have conducted homas (holy fire worship) for them in Mumbai and in my house,” Swamy was quoted as saying by the local channel.
Though the London-based Ajitabh was reticent in commenting on his sudden trip to Bangalore, he said the wedding was in the hands of destiny.
“I have no comments to make. It is left to destiny,” Ajitabh said.
Within hours after the channel began flashing the news on the Swamy-Ajitabh meeting with exclusive footage, fans of both the stars began to throng the astrologer’s residence. They were followed by hordes of media personnel, including television crews.
Swamy, however, declined to interact with the media. Insiders, who were witness to the interaction between Swamy and Ajitabh, said the astrologer approved the alliance and predicted that the couple would lead a happy life.
Ajitabh was reportedly sent by Aishwarya’s father to consult Swamy after their families had informally agreed to such an alliance.
Even the former Miss World had visited Swamy a couple of months ago on her way to Tirupati, a close aide of Swamy said.
Swamy is popular with a host of dignitaries, including politicians, corporate honchos and tinsel-world celebrities, including Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar.

KV Ranachary, executive officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has been asked to probe the issue, which caused severe inconvenience to thousands of devotees.
Amitabh’s actor son Abhishek and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai had visited the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara April 22, two days after their high-profile wedding in Mumbai. Amitabh, his wife Jaya Bachchan, their daughter Shweta and her family members, industrialist Anil Ambani and his family members had also accompanied the newly-wed.
The group comprising about 30 people were given VIP treatment and were taken to the sanctum through the VIP entrance by some TTD officials in violation of the temple rules.
TTD, which manages the affairs of the country’s richest temple, met in Tirupati on Thursday and took serious note of the incident in the wake of complaints by devotees.
More than 50,000 devotees, who were standing in queues were barred from entering the temple for four hours during the visit by Bachchan family.
According to TTD sources, the meeting that was presided over by TTD chairman B Karunakar Reddy, asked the officials not to accord VIP treatment to film personalities and industrialists. It reiterated that under the TTD protocol rules only ministers, MPs, MLAs and judges should be given VIP treatment.
